Hello everyone and welcome to Rebecca Lynn's Bakery! I am so glad you stopped by. My name is Rebecca Gross and my love of baking started from an early age. I remember always being in the kitchen helping my mom and older sister. When I was ten I received my first official order for three dozen cookies. That was one of the most exciting days I can remember!

When someone thinks of a party or a wedding what's one of the first things that come to mind? The desserts! Cakes and/or cupcakes are almost always a given. It's rare to celebrate a special occasion without a festive cake to go along. Sweets make the world sweeter, don't you think?

A Victorian Autumn Wedding

For my latest wedding order I made six different flavors of cupcakes.  The theme was Victorian / elegant / rustic / old-fashioned. :) The peanut butter cupcakes were a big hit, as usual, but I'd have to say I'm partial to my newest flavor, mint chocolate.

Boy's 1st Birthday

Today's creation are 1st birthday cupcakes for a boy. Half of the cupcakes were filled with a raspberry filling with the other half being a mix of plain chocolate and vanilla. Each cupcake was frosted with buttercream icing and topped with a handmade decoration; a few with blue sprinkles too.

Baby Shower (Girl)

These cupcakes are my latest creation. I've been very lax in posting for the last year. And by lax I mean um...not posting. One of my summer goals is to make it more of a priority.

Anyway, back to the cupcakes. This was an order of four dozen cupcakes; half chocolate and half vanilla. A couple dozen were filled with a raspberry filling. Each cupcake was frosted with a buttercream icing and topped with a handmade decoration.

Graham-Cracker Lemon Cake

I absolutely love the combination of graham-crackers and lemon so when I was looking for a flavor for this birthday cake that's what I went with. (by the way French vanilla ice-cream tastes great with crushed graham-crackers too :) The cake was lemon and so was the frosting. It was decorated with a birthday party theme of "seventeen".

"Olaf / Frozen" Cupcakes

These cute "Olaf" cupcakes are based off of Disney's "Frozen" and some of my favorite cupcakes I've made this whole year. All the decorations are edible being a mixture of chocolate and candy. The cupcakes were made with a white vanilla cake and frosted with buttercream icing. A fun and cute dessert to serve for your party!

Classic Spritz Cookies

These cookies are called Classic Spritz Cookies. They are a delicious-melt-in-your-mouth dessert. With the only down-fall being they leave you craving for more. :)
